Our client is seeking a reliable and organised Bookkeeper to join their friendly, growing small business based in Shepperton. This is a varied role that combines bookkeeping, payroll support, and some general office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across a range of responsibilities and being an integral part of a close-knit team.

The successful candidate will have experience using Xero and be confident managing day-to-day financial administration while supporting the smooth running of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Xero.
  • Process purchase and sales invoices.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements.
  • Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time.
  • General data entry and maintaining accurate company records.
  • Preparing documents, reports and correspondence.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider team as required.

Key attributes

  • Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
  • Experience working within a small business environment.
  • Proficiency in Xero is advantageous
