Our client is seeking an experienced Event Manager to join their team. Working within a small, dynamic team, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of events, managing every stage from initial concept and planning through to successful on-site delivery.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing project management, client relationships and live event operations. If you’re passionate about the outdoors, thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish, this could be the ideal opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including logistics, accommodation, transport and operational delivery.
- Produce and manage event budgets, forecasts and project timelines.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
- Deliver events on-site, working alongside the wider operations team.
- Maintain accurate project documentation with exceptional attention to detail.
- Support the wider business with operational tasks as required.
Key Attributes
- Proven experience managing outdoor, experiential or challenge events.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong client-facing experience with the confidence to build lasting relationships.
- Experience managing budgets and financial forecasting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- A genuine enthusiasm for outdoor activities and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience delivering multi-day events.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Experience driving vans or minibuses.
- French language skills would be advantageous.
