As an ICFR and Fraud Risk Associate, you will sit within the Tax and Financial Control team, supporting the delivery of Korea Sarbanes-Oxley (K-SOX) compliance and fraud risk management activities. Reporting to the Fraud and ICFR Senior Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening internal controls, supporting audit processes, and enhancing fraud prevention frameworks across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end ICFR and K-SOX compliance processes, including control walkthroughs and testing.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, supporting audit activities such as sample selection, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
- Monitor and report on control deficiencies, partnering with process owners to implement corrective actions.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of fraud risk management frameworks, policies, and governance procedures.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments, support investigations, and analyse fraud trends to strengthen detection and prevention strategies.
- Contribute to training initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve control processes in line with regulatory best practice.
Key Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CFE are desirable.
- Experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, fraud risk management, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and testing internal controls in a SOX-compliant environment.
- Knowledge of fraud risk assessments, investigations, and mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with GRC tools is advantageous.
