Print & Embroidery Manager

Our client are seeking a proactive and hands-on Print & Embroidery Manager to oversee all aspects of their garment embellishment production. This role combines team leadership with practical, day-to-day machine operation, ensuring production targets are met with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all print and embroidery activities and team members
• Plan and structure workflow throughout the year, including bulk DTF transfer production in quiet periods
• Manage and train seasonal staff during peak periods
• Operate, maintain, and clean machinery
• Oversee use of the Plotter (vinyl transfer machine)
• Support embroidery production, including operating and overseeing the embroidery machine
• Inspect products for accuracy, detect and correct stitching or production defects, and regulate machine settings
• Design & File Management
• Liaise with external screen printers to coordinate weekly job flows
• Work closely with the Order Fulfilment team to ensure customer requirements are met
• Provide guidance on logo size, placement, and design feasibility.
• Order supplies
• Drive the Company van as required.

Key Attributes

• Strong competency in Adobe Illustrator (essential).
• Previous experience with DTF printing, plotters, or embroidery machinery is advantageous (full training is provided).
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during peak seasons.
• Strong organisational and workflow management skills.
• Full UK driving licence (required for occasional van driving).
